The Product
I was tasked with redesigning and developing the web application for the custom insurance software company. Counterpoint Software's flexible modules are configurable for any insurance program. The firm automates the rating, underwriting, applications, submissions, quoting, policy issuance, portals, and reporting.

The Research
The new layout was aimed at putting the user at ease, allowing them to quickly navigate the content-heavy application. This was accomplished by using a soft color palette of blues and white, along with a proper spacing and grouped sections.
The Design
With proper spacing and grouped section, the user can focus on smaller segments and input data faster. Along with the new layout, we included an always visible left-side navigation, allowing to user to get to where they need to be quickly, as well as included a document sidebar that was collapsible on necessary pages where users would need access to customer documents without leaving the page.
The Analysis
The updated design and improved functionality lead to a cleaner, more digestible user flow. The user can quickly navigate the application with confidence to add new customers, quotes, policies, etc, as well as find customers and update information in an efficient manor.
